''I am not intimated by Amitabh Bachchan'' says Amrita Rao.

BollywoodLife cornered the petite babe at the trailer launch of her next movie Singh Sahab The Great. Dressed in a resplendent anarkali, Amrita Rao looked like a million bucks with new-found glow and a zest she has rediscovered after getting back into the reckoning. This year is turning out to be a fab one for Amrita. After being appreciated for her role in Jolly LLB co-starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, Ms Rao is now excited about Satyagraha and Singh Sahab The Great. “Yes, 2013 hain, par mera hain – that’s the note I started this year on. In fact, I started this year on a jolly good note and now Satyagraha is getting good reviews too and I have butterflies in my stomach,” said Amrita.

The 29-year-old maintains that it was a challenge for her to hold her own with the big daddy of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, with whom she is working for the first time. So was the young star nervous? What does it take to share screen-space with Mr Bachchan without being intimidated by his larger than life personality? “I never got intimidated by his larger than life persona. In fact, it only helped me. When you have a wonderful actor like him standing next to you, it helps. But it’s only after the pack up that I would ask myself, did I really work with Mr Bachchan? Oh my God!,” laughs Amrita.

Away from her regular the girl next door characters, Amrita is experimenting with roles these days. Is she consciously playing more mature, intense characters to break away from her off screen persona? “I always like to do something new. I am not trying to change my image. I want to go back to college. There’s no better place than the campus and do songs and dances!” Amrita, who impressed Naseeruddin Shah with her her performance in Jolly LLB, awaits Singh Sahab The Great. Is that also a serious role? “I am playing a news reporter. So I will be on the other side of the fence this time. I am this ambitious journalist from Eastern UP who is trying to prove herself. I follow Sunny Deol (Singh Sahab) everywhere,” she explains.

The petite star seems all set to give yet another intense performance in her next and with Sunny paaji standing alongside her with his mighty dhai kilo ka haath, this is certainly going to be a power-packed year end for Amrita!

Kristen Bell: 'Frozen' Is 'The Kind Of Movie I Wanted To See As A Kid'

'I always loved Disney animation, but there was something about the females that was unattainable to me,' 

Winter is coming. The next Disney animated film to hit theaters is titled — chillingly — "Frozen" and features the voice work of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad in this loose retelling of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "The Snow Queen." MTV News recently caught up with Bell, who explained what movie-goers can expect from "Frozen."

"The movie is about a pair of sisters — one who has the power to freeze things, and it happens when she is fearful or angry," Bell said. "And because of feeling terrified to show that to the world, she sort of runs away and freezes the town accidentally. I play the sister Anna, who makes it her mission to travel across these snowy lands and bring her sister back amidst the fact that they're fighting and kind of at that point hate each other. It's kind of how they make up and find love in the end."

Bell's voicework on the film isn't limited to dialogue — she sings too!

"We're singing the lovely songs of Kristen and Bobby Lopez, who wrote 'Book of Mormon,' " she enthused. "So it's really, really funny music. It's really good music. They're amazing to work for."

Yet, the thing Bell is most proud about when it comes to "Frozen" is embodying a relatable heroine — something you don't always find in your average Disney princess.

"I'm really excited to show it to people. I became a part of the kind of movie I wanted to see as a kid," she said. "I always loved Disney animation, but there was something about the females that was unattainable to me. Their posture was too good and they were too well-spoken, and I feel like I really made this girl much more relatable and weirder and scrappier and more excitable and awkward. I'm really proud of that."

' The Butler" topped the box office over the weekend with a $25 million.

Despite the massive popularity of movies like "Kick-Ass 2" and "The Avengers," box-office observers predicted that comic-book based sequel"Kick-Ass 2" would be roundly beaten by a historical drama over the weekend. They were right.

"Lee Daniels' The Butler" topped the box office over the weekend with a $25 million debut. Starring Forest Whitaker as a character based on a butler who worked in the White House for 34 years, "The Butler" was the last film produced by the late Laura Ziskin, whose producer and executive producer credits included four "Spider-Man" films and "Pretty Woman."

"Kick-Ass 2" floundered in the #4 spot with just $13.5 million, behind both "We're the Millers" and "Elysium" from the week before. Liam Hemsworth's corporate espionage thriller "Paranoia" and Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic, "Jobs," both bombed. Neither movie debuted in the top five, despite the considerable respective fanbases for the two stars.

"Lee Daniels' The Butler" was the only one of the weekend's four widely released new films to receive mostly positive reviews from film critics. The film's success owed a lot to Oprah Winfrey, who put a great deal of time and effort into promoting her first scripted/live-action film role in more than a decade. "Kick-Ass 2" failed to receive the enthusiastic critical reception of its predecessor, amassing just 28 percent positive reviews, according to Rotten Tomatoes. "Jobs" fared even worse, with 25 percent on the Tomatometer, while "Paranoia" was one of the worst reviewed films of the year, sitting at just 4 percent.

"The Butler" was produced for just $30 million and has been called the first true Academy Awards contender of the year. The prospects look great for the latest film from Oscar kingmakers the Weinstein Company, particularly with so few "grownup dramas" in the marketplace. Audiences who saw "Lee Daniels' The Butler" assigned it a CinemaScore of "A."

"Kick-Ass" earned only $48.1 million domestically in 2010, but its success on DVD and on-demand services was enough for Universal to push forward with a sequel. It's the latest in a string of comic-based sequels that failed to live up to the original's success, including "Red 2," "The Wolverine" and "The Smurfs 2" (yes, the Smurfs got their start on the printed page). The fact that the film's biggest star, Jim Carrey, withdrew his endorsement of the film due to its extreme violence certainly didn't help.

There's no denying the courage it must've taken for Ashton Kutcher to play Apple visionary Steve Jobs, particularly so soon after the cultural icon's death. Despite the star's creative bravery, "Jobs" made a meager $6.7 million over the weekend. Jobs' Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been critical of the film and audiences who saw it gave it a "B-" CinemaScore.

Despite supporting turns from screen legend Harrison Ford and Oscar-nominated actor Gary Oldman, "Paranoia" couldn't withstand the competition at the box office. The thriller starring Liam Hemsworth, brother to Chris Hemsworth aka Thor, earned an extremely low $3.5 million in its opening weekend. "Paranoia" received a "C+" CinemaScore from audiences.

R-rated comedy "We're the Millers" held onto the #2 spot for a second consecutive weekend, making $17.8 million for a two-week total of $69.5 million. "Millers" reunited "Horrible Bosses" co-stars Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston. Last weekend's #1 movie, "Elysium," was #3 with $13.6 million. Matt Damon's $115 million sci-fi flick has made $55.9 million domestically, all but ensuring "Elysium" will end up doing less business than filmmaker Neill Blomkamp's much-beloved debut, "District 9."

Disney's "Planes," once intended to go direct-to-DVD, rounded out the top five with $13.1 million for a $45 million two week total. The "Cars" spinoff, featuring Dane Cook in the lead voice role, was produced by DisneyToons for about $50 million. This weekend will be the third in a row to see four new films vying for the top spot. But unlike last weekend, the majority of them are getting great reviews: "The World's End," "You're Next" and "The Frozen Ground," in that order. Only the big-screen adaptation of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" has yet to receive commentary from major film critics.

Real-world(ish) teen crime fighters are back in Kick-Ass 2, a sequel that responds to controversy by doubling down on both the violence and the unexpected streak of nastiness that troubled some viewers the first time around. Batons are passed -- from director Matthew Vaughn to newcomerJeff Wadlow; from Nicolas Cage to this episode's marquee-worthy ringer Jim Carrey -- for an outing in which first-film scene-stealer Chloe Grace Moretz is as much a protagonist as the titular hero played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The film delivers almost exactly what fans of the first installment are hoping for, and should perform accordingly at the box office.

An ominously stormy sky, skyscrapers, choppers flying in the air and a topless man watching all this standing behind a window - this is the first look of the much awaited film 'Dhoom 3'. It's dramatic and makes you curious.

Although the face is not visible, the man in the poster looks like Aamir Khan giving a glimpse of his well-toned body, something which audiences appreciated in his 2008 hit Ghajini. He is seen wearing a pair of trousers and has teamed it up with a hat.

The film is scheduled for a Christmas release, an auspicious time for Aamir's films, and the poster's tag line proclaims: "This year will end with a Dhoom".

The 48-year-old is playing an antagonist in Dhoom 3, the third installment in the franchise that started in 2004 with John Abraham playing the villain. Hrithik Roshan played the negative role in Dhoom 2.

It is reportedly said that Aamir has used a lot of acrobatic skills to pull off heists in the Vijay Krishna Acharya directed action thriller that also features Katrina Kaif as his love interest.

Abhishek Bachchan once again returns to play a cop, chasing the super villain with Uday Chopra as his sidekick.

Ranbir's film today gets a high price but if it's a special appearance, then that has a different calculation. Besharam is a comedy entertainer starring Pallavi Sharda opposite Ranbir and Roy is a romance drama featuring Arjun Rampal in the main lead. Ranbir is portraying Roy in the film and will do a cameo. Seems like directors as well as producers are trying to cash on the fame of the present idol. Also, Ranbir is booked for the year as he is having six films in his bucket.

Jolie discuss her newest "deliciously cruel" role as the evil sorceress.

Disney's live action panel at its D23 fan expo might have been light on "Star Wars: Episode VII" details — the crowd collectively let out a disappointed "aww" — it was not short on surprise guests appearances, the biggest of which brought Angelina Jolie on stage to a standing ovation.

The Academy Award-winning actress took to the stage to discuss her newest "deliciously cruel" role as the evil sorceress from the Disney classic, "Sleepy Beauty" — Maleficent.

In "Maleficent," Jolie is exploring the story of the dark fairy before, during, and after the events of "Sleeping Beauty," but from her perspective. (Disney chairman Alan Horn suggested that we might even root for the dragon during the climatic battle with the prince.)

Jolie shared her love of Disney with the audience, and also her fondness for the character, who she wanted to put a new "sexy" spin on. She apparently loved playing Maleficent so much that she told the audience that she misses the horns she wore for the film.

The crowd was then treated to an exclusive look at the revisionist fairytale, which also stars Elle Fanning at Sleepy Beauty and the star's own daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, as the younger version of the princess. (Jolie joked that her daughter was the only 4 year-old that wasn't afraid of her on set.) The footage showed off both young and teenage Aurora and recreated the well-known christening scene from the original film.

The look of "Maleficent," while not as over-the-top as Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland," certainly shares more than a few visual influences with the Disney hit. Robert Stromberg, the director of "Maleficent," worked as the production designer on "Alice" and "Oz the Great and Powerful." The look mixes Stromberg's aesthetic with images inspired by the original 1959 film.

"Maleficent," when it hits theaters July 2, 2014, will go back to the very early years of the sorceress, telling the story of her teenage years as a fairy who is betrayed by the king of the humans, an event that sets into motion the events we're all familiar with.
